Schadell grew up in Birmingham. She excelled as a student and graduated from Ensley High School with honors. She was on the Dean’s List at Lawson State and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is a member of the Victory through Faith Church in Bessemer where she is the praise and worship leader. She works at Collat Jewish Family Service helping the elderly.

LenDashia is 5 years old and is in kindergarten. She is learning to read. She also enjoys ballet classes at the YMCA. Maria, age 2, is already counting to 20 and reciting the ABC’s.

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to make my kid’s dreams come true,” says Schadell. “Owning my own home will give my family a secure place to live that will show my girls that they can have peace, protection, and comfort.”
